Artist in Focus π
Meet George Tyebcho (@george_tyebcho), a digital 3D artist based in the vibrant landscape of Georgia. With a background in cinematography, George's work is a riveting fusion of reality and surrealism, resulting in stunning visualisations that simply take your breath away.
From vintage cars bursting with yellow daisies to luxurious scenes that tickle your senses, his creations are a testament to the power of imagination. Today's feature? His captivating piece, "Spring Delivery."

Brushstrokes of Knowledge π
Delving deeper into our exploration of George's work, let's turn our attention to his love for symbolizing history through objects - in this case, cars.
This is a potent nod to the art of Objectivism. Emerging in the 1960s, Objectivism elevated ordinary items to high art, focusing on their aesthetic aspects rather than functional. Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns are prominent names who often used "found objects" in their work.
Similarly, George chooses vehicles from specific periods to encapsulate time, thus transforming them from mere objects to carriers of collective memories and emotions.
Curator's Corner π§
In my years as a curator, I've seen many artists draw inspiration from the world around them. Yet, George stands out. He has a way of visualising the ordinary in extraordinary ways. His art is like a gentle whisper, nudging us to find beauty in unexpected places, reminding us that the world is filled with delightful surprises if only we take the time to observe.
His "Spring Delivery" piece, transports us into a world where time slows down, and spring blooms in the most unlikely places ππΈπ°οΈ
Wonder of Art π«
Did you know that Salvador Dali, one of the most famous Surrealists, had an unusual creative process? He would often dangle a spoon above a plate, then drift off to sleep.
The moment he started to dream, the spoon would drop and wake him, providing him with fresh, dream-fuelled inspiration for his art! Much like Dali, George too draws from the dream world, manifesting visions that defy our conventional understanding of reality. Such is the wonder of art, turning dreams into something you can touch, see, and feel π€π₯
